Senior Divisional Officer Calls on collaborators to work in synergy to foster peace and development

Kumbo (Bui) The Senior Divisional Officer for Bui Mr.Nzeki Theophile recently had an enlarged meeting with all the Divisional Officers, Mayors, Fons, Service heads, heads of Forces of Law and order, the political and religious authorities of Bui Division in the Kumbo Council hall. Speaking in the meeting which he qualified as guidelines of collaboration, Mr.Nzeki Theophile called on all his collaborators in Bui division to work in a synergy to foster peace and development in Bui division. He explained that the meeting was called to seal confidence of collaboration with the participants. Mr. Nzeki Theophile while thanking his collaborators for the sacrifices made so far to achieve the goals of peace and development said they are there to serve the institutions and not human beings. He told the civil servants to use the laws and regulations placed at their disposal to serve the population with human touch that will reflect the image of the government they serve. Mr. Nzeki Theophile called on the clergy to carry out their functions well by guiding and advising those in authority who are going astray in the way they work. Mr. Nzeki Theophile stated that all decisions and acts taken should reflect justice and equity. He added that decisions and acts should be taken in the interest of the majority and not to show how powerful one is as these decisions will continue to haunt the consciences of those who took them. The Senior Divisional officer for Bui stated that while friendship is optional, collaboration is obligatory and there should never be a refusal to it.

Mr. Nzeki Theophile finally called on his collaborators to work hands in gloves to build Bui Division in unity and integrity. Before the meeting came to an end he announced the programme of his meet the people and socio economic tour to the six sub divisions of Bui division. Welcoming participants to the meeting earlier the mayor of Kumbo Council Mr. Njong Donatus Fonyuy said the meeting was to enable participants to put their heads together and discuss the tour of the Senior Divisional officer for Bui division.
